The week of February 19th- 22nd, Open Air Photobooth returned to Las Vegas to participate in the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Show (WPPI). With over 16,000 attendees last year; this year, they expected WPPI to be the biggest and best event in their history.
This being our 2nd year in a row at WPPI, we saw thousands of photographers at our two separate booths and took part in the opening day’s Launch Pad event. Open Air Photobooth also sponsored the My WPPI Challenge contest, where contestants submit photos online to show WPPI Las Vegas through their eyes. The contest ends on February 29th and includes a grand prize of an ipad2 as well as a free trip to WPPI Mexico. We had so much fun meeting everyone and look forward to next year!

Father Daughter Dances & WPPI Preparation

WPPI 2011
On February 10th, 2012, Open Air Photobooth participated in not one, but two Father-Daughter Dances! The first was held at Montecito Union School, put on by their Parent Teacher Association. The second was held at Ocean Hills Church located in Santa Barbara, CA. Both events were memorable and we got a lot of great pictures to be cherished for years to come.
Up next, Open Air Photobooth will be traveling back to Las Vegas for our second year at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Trade Show (otherwise known as WPPI) held at MGM Grand. Last year, WPPI attracted over 16,000 attendees and this year they are expecting WPPI to be the biggest and best event in their history.
Mobile Beat Tradeshow and Convention 2012- Las Vegas

The week of February 6th-9th, Open Air Photobooth partnered with Photo Party Upload to participate in the Mobile Beat Trade Show and Conference at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas. This event was hosted to bring DJs and like-minded industry entertainers together to get a new taste of DJ gear for the year and learn from the best in the industry!
This being our 4th year in attendance, we found ourselves surrounded by Open Air Photobooth operators and hosted a customer appreciation dinner for approximately 50 at El Segundo Sol Mexican Restaurant where we raffled off 2 ipads. Mobile Beat Las Vegas has proven itself time and time again over the last 15 years as the leading trade show and conference for professional mobile entertainers, and they know it provides the first place they can go to check out the year’s newest products and services.
