Family Portraits - Mattei’s Tavern Mother’s Day Picnic in Los Olivos, California

A special Mother’s Day event was held at Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos. Mattei’s tavern is a historical gem of the Santa Ynez Valley. Built in 1886, this location was originally founded as a stage coach stop, known as the Central Hotel. Since then it has thrived in many different names, including The Hotel Los Olivos in 1890 and the Chart House in the 1970’s. Today Mattei’s Tavern has been restored and is well known for their Santa Barbara inspired fine cuisine, and quaint beautiful event venue space. This Mother’s day families enjoyed spending quality time with a lovely picnic in this beautiful historic location.
